All production heat treating, brazing and annealing is done in a controlled atmosphere using state-of-the-art temperature and atmosphere controls which provide continuous and precise regulation of the process in progress.

Service Heat Treating has competent on-staff metallurgists and a fully operational Quality Assurance Department. Quality control in our plants is stringent. The normal day-to-day inspection procedures exceed the requirements of MTI2000, the Quality Assurance Specification of the heat treating industry.

  • (5) 36x72x36 integral quench batch furnaces with matching washers, tempering furnaces, and charge cars.
  • (1) 24x36x24 integral quench batch furnace with matching washers, tempering furnaces, and charge carts.
  • (1) 30x48x30 vacuum nitrocarburizing furnace with black oil quench
  • (1) 36x48x36 vacuum furnace with 15 bar quenching and carburizing capabilities
  • Photo 5(1) 48" tableblast
  • (1) 6 cubic foot tumbleblast
  • Straightening capabilities up to 72" and 75 tons
  • Inspection and testing laboratory equipment consisting of Brinell testers, Rockwell standard and superficial hardness, microhardness testing equipment, metallograph with digital camera, and mounting equipment capable of processing 200 microspecimens per day.
  • Transportation available with (2) 48 foot semitrucks and (3) 20-28 foot straight trucks.
